Jennifer Rivera is a third grade, 2-way Dual Language teacher who proudly works for Mount Pleasant ISD. She has taught 3rd grade for 10 years! She was born in California, grew up in Acapulco Mexico, and became a Texas girl with a Spanglish dialect and unique accent from it all. She has two wonderful kids, Alexander and Arianna, that keep her plenty busy and entertained between the teacher-mom life.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin and most recently her Masters in Educational Administration from Texas A&M-College Station. She is an advocate for bilingualism, biliteracy, and creating bicultural environments for all learners. She loves utilizing books to do just that!
